Shakespeare!!!!!....and more ROME ROME ROME ROME ROME ROME!!!

As many of you have guessed...I'm still obssessing over ROME!!!!!!!!! *dies*

This is, by far, one of my longest obssessions with the Television series...ever. I'm very proud of it. :)

So, in order to further my obssession, i began reading the play JULIUS CAESAR!!! and it was totally amaizing!!! I finished today after my math test...which sucked balls, if anyone wanted to know.

My favorite part was when Caesar died because the stage direction went like this:

CASCA Speak, hands, for me!
[They stab Caesar. Casca strikes the first, Brutus the last blow]

CAESAR Et tu, Brute? - Then fall Caesar!
[Dies]

And, in the last Act with the war of Philipi, this bizarre act of dying happens at least three times, with the final time being the most hilarious...and yet, my eyes welled up with tears...in the middle of stupid math...

BRUTUS Hence! I will follow.
[Exeunt Clitus, Dardanius,and Volumnius]
I prithee, Strato, stay thou by thy lord;
Thou art a fellow of good respect;
Thy life hath had some smatch of honour in it.
Hold then my sword, and turn away thy face,
While I do run upon it. Wilth thou, Strato?

STRATO Give me your hand first. Fare you well,
my lord.

BRUTUS Farewell, good Strato. Caesar, now be still.
I kill'd not thee with half so good a will.
[He runs on his sword, and dies.]

And that whole little passage gave me mixed emotions...i laughed...and yet, I was unnaturally depressed by the turn of events. Even though, historically, i knew it would happen. It still depressed me because, even in this play, Brutus is my favorite character...as he was on Rome (although he is tied for most hot with Agrippa...but Agrippa wasn't as cool a character as Brutus)

Oh, and in Shakespeare class...we're reading MY FAVORITE play: Much Ado About Nothing..and we're watching the movie with Emma Thompson, Keananueuaeu Reeves (i can't spell his name), Denzel Washington, and the really cute guy that plays Claudio...oh! and Betelgeuse...whose name I believe is Michael Keaton. ANYWHO! its an AMAZINGLY awesome movie and one of my favorites.
And thus, here is today's amazing video:

That is all, loves!

Wow, fanks for ruining the ending. Wish we had a Shakespeare class. Even though that's pretty much all of senior year.
